What does HAND-TUFTED (HT-450, 550 and 650) mean ?

WEAVING CONSTRUCTION : 100% HAND-TUFTED

PILE MATERIAL: 100% NEW ZEALAND WOOL

YARN COUNT : 60S, 4 PLY

DYE METHOD: SWISS CIBA GAGI HANK DYED /CHROME DYEING

PILE HEIGHT: 9-10 MM

PILE WEIGHT: 72 OZ/SQYD (4.5 LBS)

PRIMARY BACKING: COTTON BLENDED WITH POLYESTER TO GIVE GOOD STRENGTH) / ACTION BAC AS PER THE REQUIREMENT

SECONDARY BACKING: COTTON CANVAS CLOTH, WITH THICK BORDER

In case of HT-550, all details of above are same, only the pile height and pile weight changes. In this case the height 11-12mm and the pile weight will be 88 OZ/SQYD (5.5 LBS)
Similarly  HT-650, the pile height will be 13-14mm, and the pile weight will be 104 OZ/SQYD (6.5 LBS)
The reason to discuss the above chapter is the case where there are projects where there is requirement of HANDTUFTED CARPETS. All these codes i.e. 450, 550 and 650 measures the pile height which increases the thickness and consumption of yarn per sq yard/per sq mtrs as the case may be.

For budgeted cases ht-450 is being offered, for very tight budget we have also introduced HT-350, with pile of 6mm.

We being manufacturers have control over the manufacturing process and can offer the carpets and very cheap prices with best available quality.
